Alexandre QUARANTA has studied philosophy in Nice, South of France. His Ph.D disseration was on Pure Self Awareness, Amazement to BE, and lucid dreaming. His academic specialities are eastern doctrines, philosophy of mind, phenomology of non-ordinary states of consciousness, transpersonnal psychology.
He is a lucid dreaming enthousiast and started to offer workshop in 1992 on the subject. His two main books "The amazement to be : Waking up to the joy of pure self awareness" and "Dreaming for Awakening : Handbook for learning and exploring lucid dreaming" are unique and original contributions in the field of litterature on non-ordinary states of conscioussness. They are in the process of being translated in English since they are only available in French for now.
